Diamonds & Poison

Diamonds & Poison is here!

We have the hard stuff and it is also loaded on to itunes - click the link!

The download lyrics and stuff for the album is right here on this page.

Why a download?

Well, we wanted to put a lot of info into the booklet and it ended up being way too much to go into the CD - plus if you buy the itunes version - you don't get a booklet - so here is one on-line that includes the story behind "Black Diamond" - how Graeme's Grandad survived a mining disaster that killed his brother - also all the lyrics; who played what (and why); lots of thanks that we owe to lots of great people who have helped up put this album together and who help us every day.

So - have a listen to the selection of songs on the juke box - and either buy the album at a gig, or here - or buy off  itunes.

We'd love feedback on what you think about the album - favourite songs - and why - and anything else - it really helps us. Here's what some people say:

Andy Jackson (Pink Floyd sound engineer)
“you’ve really got something here – something new and worth listening to.”

Dave Cummings (Del Amitri)
“Head in the Clouds rocks with blistering conviction!”

Steve Boltz (guitarist – The Who, Ray Davies, Paul Young)
“love Head in the Clouds..Janis Joplin meets Jefferson Airplane..but then the Butterfield Blues Band harp solo kicks in! Totally original and real and NOW!”

Jon King (Gang of Four)
“Signature slide guitar slithers across the top line, underpinned by a granite-hard rhythm section, vocals mix a pool-hall cool with hot aggression - the liquid harp propels the action. Listen up!”

Tony Morrelli (drummer – Jefferson Starship)
“takes me back and takes me forward! Yeah – it’s last orders for me – great!”
